Celebrating Children In Need
Raphael’s patients and staff at The Farndon Unit got into the fundraising mood again to celebrate this year's Children in Need event.
Once again patients and staff at The Farndon Unit were willing to do their bit for charity and raise funds for this year’s Children In Need event.
A number of fun activities were planned throughout the day for patients and staff to take part in, including fancy dress and a Teddy Bear Cake sale, guess the name of the teddy and fancy dress.
Activities Co-ordinator Gemma Mills said, “The patients always want to get involved with national charity events as well as help organise the activities for the day. It was good to see both patients and staff working together and fully enjoying the activities.”
Hospital Director Anne Armitage said; “Fundraising events are a great opportunity for patients to bond with the team and to get involved in organising the events to raise much needed money for great causes.”
