Update - Extending The Farndon Unit
Work is progressing well on extending The Farndon Unit. The project commenced in September 2009 and is set to be completed by the end of March 2010.
As a commitment to ensure patients have the best environments to live in, the extension willincrease the capacity within the service by five additional beds and enhance the care pathway of patients working towards discharge from the service, by providing support and training in preparation for community living.
To ensure that staff have the best environments to work in, a new administration area will also be created.
