Expansion to The Farndon Unit’s Rehabilitation Service unveiled by Mayor
Raphael Healthcare has added five beds to the existing 41-bed facility in Farndon, which will enhance the care pathway of patients of working towards discharge from the service, by providing support and training in preparation for community living.
Arthur Robinson, chief executive of Raphael Healthcare commented, “We are committed to providing the highest possible care for women suffering from mental health illnesses and this new unit will provide the essential support and facilities those women need to help them actively prepare for community living.”
The expansion has also created a total of ten new jobs including five care assistants, two clinical team managers, a clinical governance manager, an administration clerk and a hospitality worker for general housekeeping and assistance.
