The Farndon Unit has been awarded a Five Star rating after Newark & Sherwood District council undertook an in depth inspection of food preparation areas as part of the ‘Scores on the Door’ scheme.  The scheme inspects food businesses within the district to ensure hygiene standards are maintained, which gave Raphael Healthcare an excellent valuing.
 
The Farndon Unit has a team of ten employees, who are committed to ensuring that exceptional standards in food hygiene are met in all risk rating categories including food hygiene and safety, structure and cleaning and management and control.   Hospitality Services Manager Anita Baldock who leads the team, said “This is a huge achievement for the hospital as very few places achieve this and I am pleased to be involved with a highly committed and dedicated team.”
