Raphael commits to investing in people
Raphael Healthcare has achieved the Investors in People standard, which provides a flexible framework that any organisation can adapt for its own requirements to help improve performance and realise objectives through the effective management and development of their people.
The Investors in People Standard is based on three key principles:
- Plan – Developing strategies to improve the performance of the organisation
- Do – Taking action to improve the performance of the organisation
- Review – Evaluating the impact on the performance of the organisation.
An assessment of Raphael Healthcare took place in April 2009. As part of the assessment process, the assessor spoke to a number of staff at both Head Office and The Farndon Unit, on a one to one, confidential basis.
Employees in an organisation that has achieved the Investors in People standard will see benefits such as:
