Raphael Healthcare plans to expand its specialist services to Merseyside
Raphael Healthcare is set to expand its specialist services to Merseyside after buying Briars Hey in Rainhill.
Not only will the site be home to Raphael Healthcare's new corporate head quarters we are please to announce that it will be home to a two to three year development plan for a new facility to provide high quality secure mental health care to women, which will add to our current profile of mental health services.
Chief Executive Arthur Robinson says "This is an exciting time for us. Following a tremendous start to the organisation with the success of our first hospital The Farndon Unit in Newark we are looking forward to moving to the next phase of growth. This is a strategic development for Raphael Healthcare, in which we intend to provide a first class female mental health service for the North West. We believe that the combination of Raphael Healthcare's unique care services and the spacious setting and buildings at Briars Hey will result in an ideal, much needed, specialist facility for the region."
