Raphael Team strides to support Sunflower fun run
On Wednesday 14th July, staff from The Farndon Unit took part in Beaumond House’s female only 5km fun run at Newark Showground to raise funds for the hospice.
Anita Baldock Hospitality Services Manager at The Farndon Unit said, “This was the first time for this event which was well supported with over 300 ladies of all ages and fitness levels taking part. Despite the earlier thunderstorms and torrential rain it brightened up for the run making the conditions a lot better than we anticipated. We enjoyed taking part to help with this worthy cause and would like to thank everyone for their support and donations.”
Beaumond House is a community hospice that provides supportive palliative care to patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses and their families living in Newark and district.
